Critical Care Nurse for Med Surg Unit in Wilmington, NC

As a critical care nurse with Epic Travel Staffing, you will be working on the med surg unit at a hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients who have severe injuries or illnesses and require specialized care. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working in a med surg unit, preferably with a focus on critical care. You will be required to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You may also be required to float to other units or locations within the hospital as needed. To ensure success in this role, you must be able to adapt quickly to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
In addition to your clinical skills, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support. Your ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, even in emergency situations, is crucial for delivering high-quality patient care.

This job requires the following qualifications and skills:
