Job Summary

The Physician Assistant will provide primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. This includes performing comprehensive physical exams and assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and prescribing medications and other therapies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and assessments to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, including prescribing medications and other therapies as needed.
  • Provide preventative care, including physical exams and screenings, to promote health and wellness.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention to empower them to take control of their health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care and ensure seamless transitions between providers.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records to ensure continuity of care and facilitate communication with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Physician Assistant.
  • Experience working in a primary care practice setting is required.

This is a part-time opportunity with a great compensation and benefits package. The position is 24 hours per week, with flexible days and a salary of $45-60 per hour, depending on previous experience.
