Job DescriptionAt Palo Alto Networks, we're committed to protecting our digital way of life. As a Principal Product Security Researcher, you'll play a critical role in staying ahead of the curve in addressing the latest threats. Your expertise will help us identify and remediate vulnerabilities across our products and cloud offerings.Your Responsibilities
  • Discover new security vulnerabilities through bug hunting and security research
  • Perform root-cause analysis to ensure complete vulnerability remediation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to develop and review solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cybersecurity
Requirements
  • Expertise in secure programming, system security concepts, and offensive/defensive security techniques
  • Strong familiarity with Linux, operating systems, networking, and cloud computing
  • Experience with SAST rules, fuzzing/instrumenting complex applications, and program analysis methods
  • Understanding of web/application security threats and defenses
  • Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and participation in security-focused communities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently
