Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled LPN/LVN to join our team at UWHealth Rehabilitation Hospital. As a rehabilitation nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients with conditions such as stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. Your goal will be to assist patients in achieving their highest level of recovery and returning home.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility
  • Provide care for patients with a variety of conditions, including stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries
  • Collaborate with a team to deliver comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
  • Maintain quality standards and follow protocols accredited by established healthcare commissions
  • Manage a patient ratio of 6 to 1 per shift
  • Use Electronic Health Record system, EPIC, to document and manage patient care
  • Wear any color scrubs as per facility requirements
  • Report at 8 am on your first day and ask for the designated contact person upon arrival

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field
  • LPN or LVN license required
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience with EPIC and rehabilitation or acute care
