Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician II to join our team in Needham, Massachusetts.
This is a 40-hour per week, evening shift position that requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Disassemble, clean, disinfect, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute sterile instruments, flexible scopes, and supplies used in the Operating Rooms, Maternity, Emergency Department, and throughout the hospital.
- Perform chemical, mechanical, and biological testing of disinfection and sterilization equipment.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission, and critical goals of the organization into job performance.
- Collaborate with the surgical team and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- At least two (2) years of sterile processing experience required performing all Sterile Processing functions within an operative setting.
- Registered Central Service Technician (C.R.C.S.T) or Certified Sterile Process/Dist Tech (C.S.P.D.T) or equivalent required.
