Certified Nursing Assistant Role

At All Ways Caring HomeCare, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in various settings, including home health, hospice, residential, and private duty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist nurses with various basic care activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and taking vital signs.
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including toileting, oral care, nail care, and catheter care.
  • Transport patients, turn bedridden patients, and report any changes in patient condition.
  • Perform cleaning and laundry duties, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Administer medication as directed by a physician or nurse, and record the amount and time given.


Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state where the aide will provide care.
  • Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks with proper body mechanics.
