Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Ensure that deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load customer orders properly on the truck and unload items at customer locations.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to deliveries.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs.
  • Route Management: Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
Requirements
  • Age and Authorization: Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Material Handling: Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
