Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a qualified Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a 13-week contract in Beavercreek, Ohio.

About the Job

This role involves operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist, holding ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment when necessary.
  • Set controls on related equipment, monitor both the patient and equipment, making adjustments as required.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media if applicable.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label them appropriately.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
Requirements
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
  • Most states require licensure.
