Job Title: Mathematics Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mathematics Instructor to join our team. As a Mathematics Instructor, you will be responsible for providing academic support to students in mathematics-related courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students in mathematics-related courses.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including topics covered, student progress, and time spent.
  • Review course materials and prepare for tutoring sessions to ensure effective use of time.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations related to academic assistance.
  • Communicate with Math Lab Coordinator and academic counselors regarding student needs and schedule changes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • At least one year of teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Familiarity with current technologies used to teach mathematics, including computer programs and graphing calculators.
Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, and occasionally lifting approximately 20 pounds.
