Position Overview

Excel Facility Services is seeking a dedicated cleaning specialist who can deliver exceptional sanitation services.

Role Summary:

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain designated areas in a clean and organized state. You will execute the cleaning duties assigned to you by management across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness
  • Sanitize restrooms to uphold hygiene standards
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces in break rooms, including countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators
  • Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and communal areas
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners, ensuring cleanliness
  • Dust and clean cashier areas and ceiling light fixtures
  • Wash windows and mirrors for a polished appearance
  • Maintain janitorial closets in a tidy, safe, and functional state
  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize safety measures
  • Complete the scope of work as directed by the manager for each location
  • Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the facility
  • Restock supplies in assigned areas as needed
  • Keep assigned areas attractive and clean, reporting any necessary repairs to the supervisor
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance job performance
  • Request janitorial supplies from the supervisor to ensure adequate stock
  • Ensure that doors are secured at the end of the day (if applicable, confirm with your manager)
  • Utilize the Time and Attendance system for accurate reporting of hours worked
  • Complete the IVR system if required, or promptly inform the manager of any issues
  • Wear the designated uniform and identification while on duty

  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently when necessary
  • Skill in prioritizing multiple tasks effectively
