Bartender Job Description

Fogo de Chão is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming customers and determining their beverage preferences
  • Informing customers about new beverages and specials
  • Preparing and serving beverages to customers
  • Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol
  • Providing responsible service of alcoholic beverages
  • Taking inventory and ordering supplies
  • Preparing and serving menu items according to Fogo de Chão recipes and guidelines
  • Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions
Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for prolonged hours
  • High level of endurance and mental acuity
  • Ability to manage conflict and deal successfully with high stress situations
