Key Responsibilities:
About the Nighttime Facility Custodian Role:
As the Nighttime Facility Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas within the facility to ensure an exceptional member experience.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Thoroughly clean and sanitize all common areas (i.e., restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, Black Card Spa) in accordance with Planet Fitness cleaning standards.
Properly dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles.
Replenish supplies and paper products as necessary. Communicate inventory needs to the Club Manager.
Clean and dust high surfaces (i.e., ceiling fans, TVs, rafters)
Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
Maintain cleaning equipment (i.e., cleaning mop buckets, emptying vacuum bags)
Daily tasks of the Nighttime Facility Custodian may also include:
Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist them with any inquiries as they check in.
Process retail transactions accurately and strive to meet sales goals.
Address member concerns and escalate to a Manager when necessary.
Regularly perform a comprehensive walkthrough of all club areas; promptly address any safety/policy issues and cleanliness concerns.

Qualifications:
Ability to work the overnight shift
Experience in cleaning and sanitizing is preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Willingness to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements of the Custodian:
Continuous standing and movement throughout the club to complete tasks during your shift.
Frequent communication in person or over the phone to exchange information during your shift.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals during your shift.
Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
Ability to move in various positions, including bending and twisting, to complete tasks.
