Job Summary:

Nurses at the State of Georgia play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing client health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and administering nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess client health problems and needs
Develop and implement nursing care plans
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients
May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management
Administer prescribed medications as ordered by physician and document

Benefits:

Vacation - 15 days each year up to 5 years of service; 18 days each year from 5-10 years of service; 21 days each year for 10 + years of service

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND any related professional work experience
