Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will support program production teams comprised of manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, buyers, subcontract administrators, operations, and other necessary support personnel to produce quality tactical rocket motors on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan components to support manufacturing schedule and maintain MMAS compliance.
  • Use internal ERP system (Oracle) to maintain program schedules.
  • Track both raw materials and finish parts through assembly and shop areas and final shipments to customer.
  • Identify and communicate concerns and issues with potential scheduling impacts.
  • Work with team to develop solutions to minimize the impact.
  • Relay information to team members and management.
  • Monitor procurement activities to ensure conformance to established schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior planning experience.
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior planning experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior planning experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function/cross-site teams.
  • Production Scheduling or Capacity Planning experience or demonstrated willingness to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Oracle.
