The American Data Network is a dynamic and purpose-driven organization dedicated to making a difference in healthcare. As a Clinical Abstractor, you will play a vital role in improving patient care by collecting and analyzing data related to cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data collection and abstraction: You will collect and abstract data from patient medical records, focusing on diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and outcomes.
  • Data validation and entry: You will ensure the accuracy and completeness of the abstracted data by cross-referencing information from multiple sources within a patient's medical record and entering it into a database or registry.
  • Quality assurance: You will participate in quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity.

To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills. Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and familiarity with clinical data abstraction guidelines and standards are also highly desirable.
