As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals who are coping with illness, injury, or medical/surgical circumstances. This includes assessing their condition, administering medication, changing dressings, monitoring vitals, and documenting in the patient charts. You will also provide continued support and education to patients, promoting their overall health and ensuring that they have the tools to adequately recuperate and prevent further health issues.
Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
- Document patient information in charts and reports
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Med Surg
