Position Overview:
This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment for all individuals within the educational facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks and operating different types of cleaning equipment to ensure the upkeep of assigned buildings and related facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute cleaning duties in compliance with established standards.
  • Utilize cleaning equipment effectively to maintain cleanliness.
  • Support the maintenance of building systems and structures.
  • Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in overseeing security and fire alarm systems.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday; 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Compensation:
$22.52 per hour, with an additional $0.40 per hour shift differential.

Incentives:
  • $500 Hiring Bonus after probationary period (120 days).
  • $250 Bonus after one year of service.
  • $250 Referral Bonus.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs regularly.
  • Extended walking and ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
  • Good general health and previous experience in cleaning and maintenance.

Employment Duration:
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) and offers a twelve-month employment duration.

Benefits:
Eligible for benefits as negotiated with Union Local 70 and District 112, including enrollment in Minnesota's largest retirement pension. This position is also eligible for overtime and compensatory time.
