Member Service Representative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between members and the credit union, providing expert knowledge of our products and services to enhance their financial lives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information related to our systems, policies, procedures, and compliance regulations to ensure the safety and soundness of the organization.
  • Promote and educate members on credit union products and services based on their financial needs and account reviews.
  • Respond to member requests, problems, and concerns, troubleshoot issues, and direct them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance.
  • Provide back-up support to the branch operations, including processing teller transactions, implementing floor management, and assisting with loan applications.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a sales and service environment with face-to-face customer interaction and cash handling. Prior financial institution experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a goal-orientated sales environment.
  • Successful completion of a credit check, background check, and drug screen.
