Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to provide personalized care services to clients in their homes in White Lake Township, Michigan. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with clients and their families to assess and meet their unique support needs, ensuring the highest quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, feeding, and vital sign monitoring
  • Assist with range of motion activities, housekeeping, and physical therapies as instructed by the client's healthcare provider
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide companionship as needed
  • Observe and report changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to designated personnel
  • Comply with Interim HealthCare's policies, procedures, and confidentiality statements

Requirements:

  • High School Education or GED certificate
  • At least 18 years old
  • Current valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Meet the minimum requirements for the Michigan certified Home Health Aide
  • Knowledge of growth and development principles over the life span
  • Working understanding of safety and infection control procedures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
