Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at NR Consulting.

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing quality imaging to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. This includes operating CT/MR equipment, completing maintenance and/or QA requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, and assisting in scheduling repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure operation of CT/MR equipment and complete maintenance and/or QA requirements
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and assist in scheduling repairs
  • Use safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff
  • Set up CT/MR room and prepare patients for imaging
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam or procedure
  • Position imaging equipment and adjust technical factors according to specifications of examination
  • Maintain production and quality of images by following established standards and procedures
  • Monitor patients' conditions and reactions, reporting abnormal symptoms to physician
  • Take thorough and accurate patient medical histories and complete appropriate documentation
  • Contribute to team effort and coordinate work with clerical personnel and other technologists
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current ARRT registration in CT and/or MRI
  • 1-2 years of experience is preferred
  • Current BLS Certification
Working Conditions

The job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
