Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to mitigate American Honda Motor's exposure to financial risks and reduce supply quality and process vulnerabilities through departmental evaluations, identification of gaps, enhancements in quality control, and management of both internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality audits for the Raw Materials Department and follow up on related PDCA initiatives for external suppliers and storage facilities.
  • Perform regional internal audits of procedures, documentation, contracts, and other relevant materials within the Raw Materials Department, ensuring necessary PDCA follow-up.
  • Drive improvements in Raw Material processes and system development (SAP, Reporting, etc.).
  • Facilitate training and onboarding for new hires in the Raw Materials Department.
  • Maintain and control current SOX narratives.
  • Engage in ongoing education regarding lean process enhancement, six sigma methodologies, inventory management, and industry best practices.
  • Provide backup support for data management and entry as required.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience

Minimum Experience: 2 Years in Raw Materials Supply Chain Management

Experience with Quality Process Analysis and Exposure to the Raw Materials Industry

Other Job-Specific Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills, Strong Customer Service Orientation, and Basic Understanding of Cost Accounting
