Senior Softscape Foreman

At Precision Lawn & Landscape, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Softscape Foreman to lead our team in the execution of various softscape projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the installation and maintenance of softscape elements, including planting, soil preparation, mulching, sodding, and maintenance of landscape features.

• Lead and supervise a team of landscapers in the installation and maintenance of softscape elements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Plan and organize daily work schedules, assigning tasks to team members based on project requirements and individual skill sets.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is performed to the highest standards and in accordance with design specifications.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices, safety procedures, and proper use of equipment.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to ensure project goals are met and client satisfaction is achieved.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during project execution, maintaining a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• This position transitions into full-time snow removal during the winter months.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping, with a focus on softscape installation and maintenance.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the landscaping industry.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant species, soil types, and landscape design principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints.
• Proficiency in the use of landscaping tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Certification in horticulture or a related field is a plus.
