Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on vehicles to ensure safety for our clients.
- Diagnose and execute all aspects of vehicle and equipment repair, including brake repairs, engine tune-ups, suspension work, drivetrain, and transmission repairs.
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders and maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including parts and supplies utilized.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety checks, and annual inspections.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel or CNG repair, or a combination of education and experience.
- Possession of a complete mechanic's tool set.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driving License with passenger and airbrake endorsements (training opportunities available for obtaining your CDL).
- ASE certifications are preferred. Participation in the company ASE certification program is required (including training and testing).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to read and interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.
- Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical examination, including background checks and drug testing.
