Job Title: Project Manager

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of geospatial projects that align with Fugro's strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and prioritize Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection while ensuring the well-being of employees, customers, and communities.
  • Assist in proposal preparation, client presentations, contract management, and project estimating, setup, and delivery.
  • Coordinate project teams, track revenue recognition, and perform project closeout meetings and reports.
  • Monitor client expectations and project performance using the latest tracking tools and assess project risks throughout the project life cycle.
  • Develop reporting and communication tools and provide timely and informative communication to clients throughout the project cycle.
  • Perform final closeout and lessons learned of projects in accordance with quality system requirements and customer satisfaction surveys.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Sciences, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, or civil/geotechnical engineering is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of successful project management experience in the geospatial or related field with exposure to client management and primary responsibility for client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and approaches to complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to delivery, close-out, customer satisfaction, and follow-up.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification/designation desirable or the ability to achieve PMP certification in the first 2 years of employment.
  • Must have reasonable technical knowledge and project management skills to make sound project decisions and guide and direct project teams through multiple full project cycles concurrently.
  • Experience managing Federal Government Geospatial projects is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM tools.
  • Currently hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record for domestic travel and a valid passport for international travel when required.
  • Experience within the power industry and/or elevation-derived hydrography (EDH) and geophysical projects is a plus.
