Job Summary:

The City of Novi is seeking a responsible individual to perform the duties of a Crossing Guard, as needed. This role requires a person who is mentally alert, has good moral character, and a sense of responsibility for the safety of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and direct pedestrian traffic at designated school crossings
  • Ensure the safety of children crossing the street
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and other city officials to maintain a safe environment

Requirements:

  • Must be 17 years of age or older
  • Must be mentally alert and have good moral character
  • Must have a sense of responsibility for the safety of children

Compensation:

$28 per hour
