As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of high-quality mental health services to our veterans.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the mental health service line, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our veterans.
* Collaborate with the medical staff to develop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of care, treatment, and services.
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided in the mental health service line, including access, efficiency, effectiveness, and appropriateness of care and treatment.
* Recommend appointment and clinical privileges for medical staff members and others requesting privileges within the mental health service line.
* Assess and recommend off-site sources for needed patient care, treatment, and services not provided by the department or the hospital.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of mental health, with 3-5 years of leadership experience.
* Certification by an appropriate specialty board or comparable competence through the credentialing process.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of mental health professionals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with medical staff, patients, and families.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
