Reliability Engineer Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Lilly. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement equipment maintenance strategies to optimize safe operation, compliance, cost, and efficiency.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and remediation planning to address equipment issues.
  • Provide engineering support for change controls, event investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assess and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering to design, select, and install equipment that improves reliability and maintainability.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of prior engineering experience with a strong understanding of equipment reliability principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and technical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Computer proficiency.
  • SMRP certification.
