This dynamic position will be in the Research and Development Operations. Our client is seeking a strong Financial Analyst with high energy and drive. This person will provide analysis of financial and operational results within both project accounting and manufacturing accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounting system usage, requirements, and administrative control.
  • Month-end closing and reporting, including invoicing, labor reporting, account reconciliations, and coordination of closing entries with other internal locations.
  • Ownership of inventory and update of standard costing.
  • Capital appropriation and Fixed Asset support.
  • Data extraction and report development.
  • Financial analysis and process development for special projects, as required.
  • Provide annual and quarterly corporate tax reporting.
  • Support through Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Completion of the company's Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls.
Basic Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Business from an accredited institution.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 2 years financial experience with manufacturing companies.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Deltek, Costpoint project management software, and Oracle.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral form.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter.
  • Experience with querying databases.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience with cost accounting.
