Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Trinity Veterinary Hospital PLLC. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support veterinarians, and educate clients on animal health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in providing quality patient care, including physical examinations, dental procedures, and surgeries.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing education on animal health and well-being.
  • Support the veterinary team in maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including blood work and urinalysis, to assist in diagnosing and treating animal health issues.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Monitor anesthesia and provide specialized nursing care for injured or ill animals.
  • Prepare patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery, ensuring proper sterilization and maintenance.
  • Assist in diagnostic, medical, and surgical procedures, utilizing high-tech diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of preventative healthcare recommendations, providing education to clients on vaccines, flea and heartworm products, and other essential services.
  • Educate clients on products and medications sold, including dietary products and answering questions regarding product purchase and use.
  • Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals, equipment, and supplies, ensuring accurate records and timely ordering.
  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize instruments, equipment, and materials, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Knowledgeable regarding related federal and state animal health laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and reporting any issues to the veterinary hospital administrator.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional patient care and client satisfaction.
