As a Vascular Imaging Specialist at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital, your responsibilities will include preparing and executing a variety of sonographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician directives. To be eligible for this position, candidates should be graduates of or currently enrolled in an allied health educational program. An associate's degree in allied health, applied sciences, or the completion of a relevant certification or training program is highly advantageous.
We highly value prior experience in ultrasound and sonography for this role. Furthermore, obtaining certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or as a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is essential for this position.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program
- Demonstrated experience in ultrasound and sonography
- Certification as RVT or RVS is required
