Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Exxon Mobil Corporation in San Antonio, TX. This role will involve managing inventory, collaborating with the sales team, and connecting with key customer stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Manage inventory, including replenishments, local stock, new product introductions, and expired product.
  • Collaborate with the local sales team on customer purchase order collection and customer solutions.
  • Connect with and manage key customer stakeholders as part of key account management.
  • Perform check-in and put-away process for Orthopedic products, including scanning inventory, completing inventory transfers, ordering replacement parts, and sorting mixed sets.
  • Contact freight forwarders, receiving parties, and internal clients.
  • Partner with customer accounts receivable to mitigate pricing issues and process invoicing.
  • Label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval.
  • Train and follow standard operation and quality procedures and work instructions.
  • Be responsible for GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
  • Perform cycle count and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Assist in regulatory inspection and perform safety and quality audits.
  • Adhere to training requirements and health and safety regulations.
  • Wear protective clothing and equipment as required.
  • Implement schedule/policies/group guidelines.
  • Lead projects as required.
  • Be flexible to other tasks as priorities shift.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent (Bachelor's degree is a plus).
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or customer service.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite, with knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Flexibility to work a staggered work schedule covering Monday thru Sunday shifts.
  • Ability to accommodate changes in the schedule, including working in other shifts as per operational needs.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to utilize specialized software and customized programs to meet business needs.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Practices (GxP) and experience with Inventory Management (a plus).
