Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Analyst - Client & Matter Management, your primary focus will be to provide financial and analytical support for project and matter management within the firm. You will collaborate closely with the firm's Executive Leadership and Finance Managers on various initiatives that demand strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating within a team to execute ad-hoc financial analyses, generate reports, and manage special projects related to project and matter management.
- Applying your analytical expertise and in-depth knowledge of finance, economics, and accounting to fulfill complex and routine requests, including client budgets and overall financial performance assessments.
- Leveraging the Elite financial system and Business Objects to extract data, organize information, and create reports that reflect client project performance for management and attorneys.
- Providing training, guidance, and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering their professional growth.
- Working alongside managers and supervisors to coordinate daily activities and workflows.
- Instructing analysts on the completion of analysis and reporting tasks as required.
- Assisting with administrative duties aimed at enhancing process efficiency, documentation, data entry, cross-training, and project tracking.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
A minimum of four years of relevant analytical experience in finance, accounting, or project management, including responding to ad-hoc requests, developing analyses, and producing reports is preferred. - Experience in managing costs, fees, and budgets, along with a background in customer-focused roles is advantageous.
