Job Title: GIS Developer

We are seeking a skilled GIS Developer to join our team at Insight Global. As a GIS Developer, you will play a critical role in building out ETL between 3 GIS systems using Feature Manipulation Engine (FME), Safe Software, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ETL processes to transform data from GIS systems to IBM Maximo work management system
  • Utilize FME Workbench to flatten data for migration to ESRI
  • Develop ESRI-based web mapping support as a viewer of data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Requirements:
  • Experience with building out ETL using Python, Arcpy, and Feature Manipulation Engine (FME)
  • Proficiency in FME Workbench and ESRI-based web mapping support
  • Strong understanding of data conversion between GIS systems, specifically Esri, IBM Maximo, and GTech
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
