Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Wound Care Nurse to join our team of wound care professionals at Dr. MobiCare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing chart audits of wounds to determine both immediate treatment needs and long-term treatment plans. You will work closely with supervising physicians to coordinate case management and liaise between families and healthcare administrators. Prior to patient discharge, you will educate patients and families on care practices and methods to promote wellness and healing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage all acute, chronic wounds, surgical wounds, and dermatologic wounds.
  • Establish a plan of care and work within protocols established by the medical director.
  • Accurately perform chart examinations on adult patients with acute and chronic wounds.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage chronic conditions for electronically.
  • Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Provide individualized patient teaching and counseling.
Qualifications
  • BSN degree (strongly preferred).
  • Current state licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
  • CPR and basic life support (BLS) certifications.
  • Certification and prior experience in wound care.
