Interior Electrician Specialist

The U.S. Army is seeking highly skilled Interior Electricians to join our team. As an Interior Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of all interior electrical systems in the Army.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain interior electrical systems, including transformers, junction boxes, circuit breakers, and service panels.
- Read blueprints and wire plans to determine layouts and repair electrical systems.
- Test equipment to ensure operational conduction of circuits.
- Inspect power distribution systems for shorts in wires and faulty equipment.
- Repair and replace faulty wiring and lighting fixtures.
Job training for Interior Electricians requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and seven weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Part of this training is spent in the classroom and part in the field with on-the-job instructions.
To be eligible for this position, you must be under 35 years old, a U.S. citizen or hold at least permanent residence, have a high school diploma or GED, and have no major medical issues or law violations.
