Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians, including the recommendation and acquisition of necessary adaptive equipment.

• Set measurable objectives and formulate treatment plans aimed at helping patients achieve their highest level of independence and functionality.

• Facilitate effective communication among the treatment team, physicians, patients, and their families as appropriate.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services rendered to support proper billing practices.

• Oversee the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in patient care and related activities, adhering to state regulations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the relevant state.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification as per state requirements.

• Preferred experience of at least one (1) year in physical therapy practice.
