Job Summary

This is an open position for a Physician (Family Practice) at the Clinton Indian Health Center in Clinton, OK. The selected candidate will provide continuous patient care to a diverse range of patient age groups. The position is under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director of the Clinton Service Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct medical services, including diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic services, within the specialty of family medicine.
  • Ensure patient care covers all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families with multiple health problems and diverse backgrounds.
  • Work alternate schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Requirements

The selected candidate must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, the candidate must have at least three (3) years of equivalent experience in family medicine or completion of three (3) years of graduate training (internship, residency, or fellowship program) in family medicine.

Working Conditions

The selected candidate may be subject to a probationary period and must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint check and background investigation. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
