Job Summary:WaterFleet, LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Water/Wastewater System Technician to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering water and waste-water purification trailers to remote customer sites, repairing and maintaining wastewater equipment, and performing various types of basic preventative maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver water and waste-water purification trailers to remote customer sites
Repair and maintain wastewater equipment, and associated contact with raw sewage
Rig equipment up/down as customer sites relocate
Perform various types of basic preventative maintenance and repairs
Plumbing from source to delivery
Communicate clearly and respectfully with both co-workers and customers
Monitor the performance of water and waste-water purification units
Coordinate maintenance activities with System Operators, Lead Technicians, FSTs and Remote Monitoring Technicians
Requirements:
High School Grad; or GED
Overtime and On-Call when on hitch schedule
Valid drivers license and clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in previous 3 years)
Acceptable background check, clear of DWI convictions, for the last 5 years
Travel to work locations (Permian and/or Delaware Basins)
Maintain respectable appearance professional demeanor
Drivers of Commercial Motor Vehicles are required to be 21 years of age or older - DOT regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to use basic hand/power tools for installation and maintenance purposes
Physical ability to sit, stand, walk for long periods, and to lift up to 40 lbs.
High mechanical aptitude, ability to apply trouble-shooting techniques productively
Ability to access computer systems to determine required maintenance activities
General computer/cellphone navigation abilities, navigating on a computer, using a mouse, typing, changing screens, etc.
Knowledge of the oilfield industryexpectations and environment.
Experience with customer service, client communication, and technical environments
Experience in water/waste-water purification preferred
Work Environment:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a small crew. The work environment will be physically demanding, with extended hours in extreme weather conditions. The candidate must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, drive and then walk for extended periods of time, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
