Laundry Sorter

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laundry Sorter to join our team at the Kalispel Tribe of Indians - KTEA. As a Laundry Sorter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective sorting of linens in our laundry operations.

• Sort and categorize linens according to type, color, and soiled content
• Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines and formula charts
• Monitor and record linen volumes and weights
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Communicate effectively with internal customers and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 # to 100 # occasionally, 50 # to 75 # frequently, and 25 # to 50 # often
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

The Laundry Sorter will work in a laundry environment with potential exposure to blood and body fluids, hazardous chemicals, and steam-heated surfaces. The worker will be frequently subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and wet/humid/windy conditions.
