Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters the social, intellectual, physical, and emotional growth of each child, aligning with their individual learning goals.
  • Lead and supervise staff members, ensuring a cohesive and supportive team dynamic.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of child development, including typical and atypical language, cognitive, motor, social, and self-help skills.
  • Provide exceptional care and support to all children and families with respect and dignity, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Collaborate closely with the Assistant Teacher to develop and implement engaging program activities that cater to the diverse needs of the children.
  • Build strong relationships with families, understanding their educational, social, health, and nutritional concerns, and offering holistic support.
  • Embrace diversity and demonstrate sensitivity to the unique cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds of the children and families served.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required.
  • Current valid state teaching certification (Birth-2nd Grade) is essential.
  • Proven experience working with 3K to 4K students, demonstrating a passion for early childhood education.
