Job Responsibilities:
As a Culinary Specialist II, your primary role will be to prepare a variety of hot and cold food items. You will be accountable for maintaining consistency and quality in food production, ensuring that all dishes are served according to established specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness in compliance with health department regulations.
- Prepare your station for service at least 15 minutes before service begins.
- Acquire knowledge of all menu items relevant to your assigned station.
- Complete work assignments efficiently to meet required quantities within designated timeframes.
- Handle refrigeration and serving of cold food items.
- Manage the production of food orders.
- Adhere to safe food handling practices at all times.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate basic knife skills.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.
- Exhibit the ability to multitask effectively.
- Must be capable of standing for over 8 hours each day.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
