We are seeking a skilled RN - Clinic Registered Nurse - Oral Surgery to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide primary nursing support to physicians and patients, assist in diagnosis and treatment, educate patients on medical conditions and treatments, and maintain accurate patient records.


Responsibilities
  • Lead clinic operations, overseeing flow and non-provider staff.
  • Triage patient sick calls to facilitate appropriate treatment plans with providers.
  • Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and basic medical data for providers.
  • Oversee chart checks to ensure completed testing is available for provider visits.
  • Assist providers in procedures as directed by providers to facilitate accurate diagnoses and treatments.
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate staffing based on clinic needs.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork to expedite laboratory studies.
  • Execute and document ongoing patient communication.
  • Provide instruction to ensure patient understanding of medical conditions and compliance with treatment instructions.
  • Insert, monitor, regulate, and discontinue IVs as required by providers.
  • Administer medications, IV push medications, and topical medications.
  • Routinely inspect and observe condition and operation of diagnostic equipment and instrumentation.
  • Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments according to established protocols.
  • Clean and set up procedure rooms between cases, ensuring required levels of asepsis and availability of necessary instruments and equipment.
  • Educate staff and patients on medication and treatments as needed.

Requirements
  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (Default Issuing Body)
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) (RN_State of Pennsylvania)
