About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues using state-of-the-art computer systems
  • Perform tire and brake repairs, as well as maintenance on car heating and air conditioning systems
  • Work on steering and suspension systems, including belts and hoses
  • Repair and maintain radiator and engine cooling systems, batteries, and starting and charging systems
  • Perform oil changes and diagnose check engine light issues
  • Work on mufflers and exhaust systems, as well as perform visual safety and courtesy inspections
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics
  • High personal productivity and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
  • Experience using shop equipment, such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, technical degree a plus
  • State-specific auto repair certifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
