  • Engage with patients to facilitate benefits verification and identify secondary coverage options.
  • Conduct insurance verification and determine medication coverage.
  • Assist in the completion of prior authorizations to ensure medication accessibility.
  • Maintain regular communication with patients regarding their medication requirements.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to meet patients' clinical needs effectively.
  • Support the scheduling and monitoring of prescription fills and deliveries.
  • Document patient interactions using specialty pharmacy software.
  • Generate reports to monitor medication needs and adherence metrics.
  • Collect vital signs and update health information during in-person consultations.
  • Manage patient referrals for specialty care services.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in OH is mandatory.
  • National certification (PTCB or ExCPT preferred).
  • Experience in pharmacy or nursing navigation is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient with technology and adaptable to new systems.
  • Willingness to travel and possess reliable transportation may be necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Health Compliance:

  • Proof of recent TB skin test, MMR, Varicella, Hep B3 Series, Influenza, and COVID vaccination.
  • Additional health compliance measures may be required.
