Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant will assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care, delegate and direct supportive personnel, and participate in patient education and communication. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care, including delegation and direction of supportive personnel.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in patient education and communication, including providing information on treatment plans, progress, and goals.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify treatment plans and interventions as needed.
- Perform other professional duties associated with patient care, within the scope of practice.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
