Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Electrophysiology team at University Hospital. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pre and post-procedure patients for cardiac ablations, device-based procedures, extractions, cardioversions, and implantable loop recorders.
- First assist with pacemaker device placements, generator replacements, ablation procedures, lead extractions, and lead revisions.
- Independently perform cardioversions, loop recorder implantations, and loop explants.
- Perform independent clinic visits for electrophysiology patients at local and regional locations.
Requirements:
- Active PA license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Active PA board certification.
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
