About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Class A Driver to join our team at Holcim (US). As a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely collection and delivery of whole tires and shredded tires to the proper location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a standard transmission Class A day cab with 28', 53', or 48' walking floor trailers.
  • Run efficient collection routes when required.
  • Load tires onto trailers at customer locations depending on demand.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain the appearance of the truck.
  • Perform minor truck maintenance and repairs (lights, fuses, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and DOT regulations at all times.
  • Keep accurate DOT logs and load sheets.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • No automatic transmission restriction.
  • Doubles/Triples endorsement a plus (willing to train the right candidate).
  • Pass DOT drug screen and obtain and retain DOT physical card.
  • Minimum of one year Class A driving experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
