We are seeking a highly motivated Server Assistant to join our team at Delray Sands Resort. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization that values its employees and strives to achieve its mission.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist servers in their tasks to ensure seamless service to our guests.
  • Serve water, bread, and butter as needed to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure all service stations in the kitchen are stocked and ready for service to maintain efficiency.
  • Remove soiled dishes from tables and bring them to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
  • Complete setup and teardown of large party dining events as assigned to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Deliver food to tables using the correct seat positions on the ticket to maintain accuracy.
  • Place entrées to the correct seat positions accordingly, serving women first to show respect.
  • Set tables with silverware, glassware, and other items to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Polish silverware before and after shifts to maintain cleanliness and shine.
  • Remove soiled linen, restock work areas with clean linens, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the dining and patio areas.
  • Stock servers' stations with supplies and bus stations with ice, coffee, teas, and other essentials to ensure a smooth service.
  • Collect trash from dining rooms and other specified places after each serving period to maintain a clean environment.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED is a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages are essential.
