Program: Family Treatment Center
Reports To: Recovery Services Manager
The Recovery Advocate Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the Recovery Advocates and providing support to the Recovery Services Manager. This position is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality recovery services to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, hire, and train Recovery Advocates and RA Leads, focusing on their professional development.
- Conduct individual supervision sessions and facilitate team meetings.
- Ensure continuous coverage within the department by managing workloads and schedules.
- Assist clients with various recovery services, including transportation and medication administration.
- Act as a liaison between Recovery Advocates and other program staff to resolve client-related issues.
- Contribute to program planning and evaluation as part of the clinical team.
- Organize and maintain resource materials and policies within the department.
- Model supportive behavior that aligns with the values of recovery.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient organizational and computer skills.
- CPR certification is required.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience working with diverse populations is preferred.
- Must pass a background study and meet all regulatory requirements.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience is required.
- High school diploma or GED is necessary.
- Preferred experience in a substance use or mental health facility.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and gender-responsive care is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Capability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to climb stairs as needed.
