Your Responsibilities:

As a Retail Management Trainee, you will:

  • Act as the Manager-on-Duty during shifts when the Store Operations Manager is unavailable.
  • Oversee, mentor, and train a team of 2-5 members involved in sales and deliveries.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and initial training of new staff members.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews for potential hires in the absence of the manager.
  • Assist the Store Operations Manager with inventory management, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards regarding baking, uniforms, and policies.
  • Promote upselling and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
  • Experience in conducting in-person interviews for hourly staff.
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
